That's what our founder Mr. Mahimananda Mishra believed in, when in the year 1978 with a handful of manpower, he commenced the operation of Orissa Stevedores Limited. ... There were hurdles every day as he worked into building the OSL group and achieving daily goals, but he was undeterred and confident of his ability. It was then he got his first break in 1979 when he successfully completed the shipment of care foods for shipping American president line and created a new record in his field, that was well acknowledged and appreciated in the State and American journals. Since that day, there has been no turning back. OSL has kept breaking their old records only to create new ones over the last four decades. It is a premium and reputed stevedoring house on the east coast of India in its quest for excellence by handling the highest amount of cargo as a stevedore.
